Groups, Workshops & Courses

Group therapy is a unique and powerful step towards healing and resilience.

Group therapy offers a supportive and dynamic environment where you can share with others and gain shared insight into collective challenges. By connecting with others facing similar issues you can feel less isolated, more validated and understood. Within this environment where stigma is reduced, personal growth can thrive when fostered with compassion, skill building and the guidance of a skilled therapist.

Hypnobirthing, specifically the Mongan Method Hypnobirthing Program, is a world renowned program that has been around for over 30 years.  It operates under the premise that birth is a natural biological event, not necessarily a medical event.  It is something that mom’s and baby’s body know how to do instinctively.  Hypnobirthing combines education, relaxation techniques, hypnosis and  support from a group of people who are on their own birthing journey.  It helps you to feel empowered to advocate for yourself, for your partner, for your baby and for the birth experience you want to have.  The hypnobirthing program runs for 5 weeks, one night/week for 2.5 hours.  It includes a spot for the birthing person, as well as their birth companion, and it helps the birthing companion take a more active role in the birth, as compared to traditional prenatal programs.
