Healing Through Connection – Intergenerational Trauma Group

This group provides a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore, understand, and heal from the deep impact of intergenerational trauma and attachment wounds that come from the suffering within our families.


Group & workshop sessions are a cost-effective way to receive therapy and education. Most Insurance plans cover our fee.

$75.00 per person

This closed, 6-week group combines psychoeducation, interactive discussions, and therapeutic exercises, offering participants tools to address attachment styles, trauma, and family dynamics. Each session incorporates grounding techniques, including the Container Exercise, and builds coping skills with activities like journaling, boundary-setting, and visualization. The goal is to help participants move from survival to an embodied sense of safety and self-compassion.

This group also offers a cost-effective way to receive support while fostering deep, healing connections with others on similar journeys.

  • Week 2: Attachment Styles and Neurobiological Systems.
  • Week 3: Understanding Intergenerational Trauma.
  • Week 4: Addressing the ‘I’m Not Good Enough’ and other unhelpful mindsets.
  • Week 5: Family Dynamics, Boundaries and Effective Communication.
  • Week 6: Moving Forward and Celebrating Progress. Focus on Generational Gifts.
  • Booster Session: Reinforce Progress and Provide Continued Support.

This group is facilitated by Rohama Kabeer, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) or Angie Agrawal Holstein, MSW RSW, Founder, Clinical Director, & Psychotherapist.
