She/Her

I can help you navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, or intergenerational trauma, I will meet you where you are and help you progress toward meaningful healing and growth.

I am particularly passionate about supporting Adolescents, Families, and emerging adults who are navigating transitional life periods—whether it’s the challenges of adolescence, shifting family dynamics, developing healthy identities or dealing with mental health challenges. Some examples of the work I do with my clients relate to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, bullying, self-esteem, school avoidance, and complex trauma. My work is also attuned to systemic inequities and intersecting identities.

Another passion is working with Couples.  Using the Gottman Method—a research-based approach that focuses on building friendship, managing conflict, and creating shared meaning. Whether you’re navigating communication breakdowns, trust issues, or life transitions as a couple, this method can help strengthen emotional connection and deepen intimacy. I guide couples in learning practical tools to enhance understanding, reduce reactivity, and foster long-term relational satisfaction.

As someone who deeply understands the complexities of cultural identity, resilience, and the struggle to feel seen, I bring both my lived experience and a heartfelt commitment to supporting you in your journey.

I am confident in my ability to support you through my extensive training and experience. I am a qualified therapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Family Therapy, and Collaborative Problem-Solving. My approach blends evidence-based practices with a deep respect for the cultural and personal context of each person’s lived experience.

As a first-generation Canadian, my life experiences have shaped my passion for mental health advocacy, particularly within the BIPOC community. Growing up, I faced many of the same challenges my clients do today, from navigating cultural expectations to breaking free from cycles of chronic shame and limiting beliefs. These experiences have honed my ability to offer not only professional expertise but also authentic empathy and connection. Whether you’re an adolescent stepping into a new phase of life, a family seeking harmony, a couple striving to reconnect, or an individual looking for healing and empowerment, I am here to walk this journey with you.

I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Sitting with feelings, especially difficult ones, is a hard but important skill. Tolerating and soothing difficult feelings until they pass is an important skill that for most people is not taught or modeled well in our society that tends to avoid intense feelings. 💪🏽This ability bolsters our other skills of practicing grace, processing our emotions and allowing ourselves to move forwards towards the goals and life we want to curate. It’s important to explore and be curious about the emotions we are experiencing, to recognize what they are, to allow yourself to feel them. All emotions can be observed and supported with compassion until the feelings lesson.✨#emotionfocusedtherapy #therapytoronto #therapiststoronto #southasiantherapist #
