Do you feel heard? Have you ever struggled with being seen? Are you validated as your authentic self? If you have ever struggled with ANY of these experiences, you have come to the right place. We are all in relationships, whether we know it or not. My job is to help you in your relationship with yourself and others.
My goal as your therapist is to help you explore and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others. As a Black male, second-generation immigrant, I’m aware of how culture, heritage, and family shape our stories. I have over a decade of experience as a former law enforcement officer, and I understand the value of a mental health journey focused on self-care and resilience while balancing professional and personal demands.
I have always been curious about relationships and how they shape us. In my experience, love, joy, grief, loss, trauma, anger, conflict, and other emotions and conditions all happen in the context of relationships.
I am a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I mainly draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy, using a strength-based approach to help individuals, couples, and families.
