She/Her

Tulsi offers in-person sessions at our Etobicoke location and virtual therapy across Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta. She provides services in Gujarati, Hindi, Urdu, and English and specializes in supporting couples, individuals, and international students.

I know how overwhelming it can feel when anxiety takes over, when your mind won’t stop racing, when overthinking spirals into self-doubt, and when even simple tasks start to feel impossible. Many people describe feeling stuck, frozen, or mentally drained long before the day even begins. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself.

Clinically, I support Individuals and Couples navigating stress, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, time-management struggles, and other life challenges. I draw from various therapeutic approaches depending on your needs, and I’m certified in DBTEFT and EFT for Couples, with ongoing training in Complex Trauma. I also believe that culture and trauma shape our stories in powerful ways, and we’ll explore your concerns with compassion, curiosity, and cultural awareness.

In our work together, my goal is to help you create a safe, grounding space where you can slow down, regulate your emotions, make sense of your inner world and feel truly understood. I approach therapy through a culturally responsive lens because our identities, histories, and backgrounds deeply influence how we experience stress, relationships, and healing.

Growing up in a Gujarati household in Kenya gave me a rich blend of cultures, experiences, and perspectives. Like many of us, my life has held both uplifting moments and challenging ones, each shaping how I understand myself and the world. Those experiences taught me to honour the good, face the difficult, and find meaning in the messy middle.

Moving to Canada at 18 as an international student taught me firsthand what it’s like to be far from family and familiar support systems. I understand the loneliness, pressure, and emotional strain that come with major life transitions—and those experiences fuel my passion for supporting others who may be facing similar moments of overwhelm or uncertainty.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find me listening to music, singing, reading, learning something new, knitting, or curling up with comfort food and a cozy moment.

If you’re reading this, you’re already taking the first step toward change. Let’s connect for a no-charge 20-minute consultation and explore how I can support you on your journey.

Sitting with feelings, especially difficult ones, is a hard but important skill. Tolerating and soothing difficult feelings until they pass is an important skill that for most people is not taught or modeled well in our society that tends to avoid intense feelings. 💪🏽This ability bolsters our other skills of practicing grace, processing our emotions and allowing ourselves to move forwards towards the goals and life we want to curate. It’s important to explore and be curious about the emotions we are experiencing, to recognize what they are, to allow yourself to feel them. All emotions can be observed and supported with compassion until the feelings lesson.✨#emotionfocusedtherapy #therapytoronto #therapiststoronto #southasiantherapist #
